12-year-old Peachtree Corners girl missing

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police are looking for a missing 12-year-old Peachtree Corners girl.

Kelsie Lee is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 100 pounds, with blue eyes and long curly blond hair. She was last seen Monday morning wearing jeans and a long black sweatshirt with a western design.

Circumstances surrounding her disappearance were not immediately known. Police told 11Alive News that Kelsie's mother asked the girl to take out the garbage while the mom drove her son to school. When she returned home, Kelsie was gone.

Gwinnett County Police have set up a staging area in the 4500 block of Jones Bridge Circle as they prepare to search for Kelsie.

Anyone who sees Kelsie or knows her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
